I (Aminta Uly) am a collagist/editor working with dance, sound, visual art, linguistic experimentation, and poetry to explore how forms intersect and diverge, and to create systems where narrative and language follow their own rules. I use trance to reveal linguistic autonomy and ontological being, and to feel surprised. I am interested in thing-like people and people-like things, the granularity of dog training, old toys, microphilosophy, meds & drugs, object (im)permanence, the way things look under versus above water, comedy night at my common job, love in my life, subterfuge, naming in general, and the naming of meteorological events.
